Forest Dunes has long been one of America's great public resorts. The club sought Matchplay to help with its branding, digital presence, and customer connectivity, as well as bringing its new Gil Hanse-designed private club, Skyfall, to life.

Creating a website that was reflective of the lively club-like experience at Forest Dunes where golfers can enjoy themselves in a pristine natural setting and test three distinct golf courses. The goal of Forest Dunes' new website was to capture this customer experience and tell a new story about the expansiveness of the resort's offering. Using entirely new video and photography crafted by Matchplay's team, the website tells a story of a welcoming golf facility that you'd want to spend time with your buddies.
02. Launch Strategy
A new brand (Skyfall)
In 2024, the owners at Forest Dunes had an ambitious idea—to launch a new private golf club at Forest Dunes, and kick off the news at the PGA Merchandise show in Orlando. We went to work crafting a media strategy, creating a new hype video for the project, and unveiling it all at an invite-only dinner with Gil Hanse. The result? Hundreds of applications of interest for the new private club.
03. Communication
Connecting (Online Magazine)
Forest Dunes wanted to connect with its loyal following, highlighting the developments at the club. Working with the resort's leadership, Matchplay crafted an annual digital magazine that is distributed to Forest Dunes' digital database. Telling the stories that engage the imagination, and updating customers on what's new, the annual magazine has had tens of thousands of views since it was launched.
