Client Gamble Sands wins Best New Course for Scarecrow

We're thrilled to hear the news that Gamble Sands Resort's Scarecrow course has won "best new public" from Golf Digest

Matchplay started working with Gamble over a year ago as Scarecrow was moving from construction and grow-in to preview and opening. Led by Darin Bunch, GM extraordinaire Blake Froling, Tory Wulf and the Gebbers family, Matchplay launched a rebrand, with a completely reworked website, new collateral, a new consumer-facing digital magazine, and much more.

Best of all, we got to visit the club in August and see all the work going into it by Blake and his team in the weeks before it opened. The design that Nicholas Schaan and David McLay Kidd did for the course was impressive indeed, with strategies that reveal themselves over multiple plays and a thrill ride finishing stretch.
